２０１３年３月２２日、念願のハリウッド・ウォーク・オブ・フェイムにあるヴォーンさんのスターを訪れることが出来ました。これは彼の映画出演１００作目を記念して埋め込まれたものですので、スターには映画界を象徴するカメラが入っています。この時のお祝いには、大学の時からの友人のジェームズ・コバーンや１００作目となった映画「ベースケット・ボール」の監督ザッカー氏も駆けつけたそうです。そして、彼が選んだこの場所、ハリウッド大通り6633は、彼がミネアポリスから出てきてハリウッドでお母さんと生活を始めた最初のアパート、コモドアアパートのあるチェロキー通りとハリウッド大通りの交わる所、ここで、彼は大学へのバスを待っていたのです。そんなことを思いながら、まだ存在するコモドアアパートへの道を歩いてみました。思っていたより大きく、閑静な場所で驚きました。そして彼がバスに乗るのに歩いたようにまたハリウッド大通りへと、戻りました(笑）

March 22nd,2013, I finally managed to visit Robert Vaughn's star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He chose the place where he used to wait for a bus to his college, the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and N.Cherokee Ave. I walked up this avenue to find the Commodore apartment where he started his life in Hollywood with his mother after thier arrival from Meneapolis. And it wasn't difficult find it. It was still there, quite big actually. I spent some time there thinking how young RV was like in those days and walk back the stree to as if I was going to catch a bus like him.(laugh)
